WHAT I DO

I graduated from the KLC School of Design in 2007 and have been running Christine Alterman Interiors since then, creating beautiful interiors for clients in London and all around South East.

I grew up in New Zealand where homes enjoy crisp clear light and are surrounded by natural beauty. This has been a major inspiration in my approach to designing schemes for homes, whilst also staying sympathetic to the traditional elegance of British homes.

No two projects are the same. Getting to know my clients and understanding how they like to live is crucial to the design process. For me it is also one of the most rewarding elements.

I love to start with an understated palette and bring interest into the schemes with the use of texture, light and accessories to create elegant liveable spaces.

Projects range from providing furnishing and fabrics for individual rooms, to complete new builds and renovations.

Over the last 10 years I have developed trusted relationships with a range of highly skilled specialists and designers who contribute to creating elegant individual interiors .

I am a registered member of the BIID , the British Institute of Interior Design.
